Is the founder of EM Investment Group, a multi-strategy opportunistic real estate private equity firm, primarily focused on multifamily, distressed and value-add projects across the United States.

With over 30 years of experience in the real estate and financial spaces, Elias has raised over $1 Billion in equity and assembled a $4 billion+, 22,000 unit multifamily portfolio alongside his partners. After acquiring properties from Blackstone, Goldman Sachs, DRA, JP Morgan, and others, the firm was included in the top 50 NMHC Largest Apartment Owners list, culminating in a portfolio sale to Starwood in 2021. In the process of sourcing private capital, Elias forged and nurtured long-term relationships and alliances with key investors and operators. 

Elias spent over a decade in a private wealth management firm focused on fixed income and equity strategies, including the creation of an options fund. Earlier in his career, Elias was the Managing Director for a textile import and distribution company in Mexico City.

Elias holds an MBA from the University of San Diego, having earned a dual emphasis in International Business and Finance. Elias also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM).
